The Supernal 2 Recliner Plus has all the head and the foot control of the Basic version, but also includes wallhugging and massaging upgrades.
All our hospital beds are designed to look like home furniture, yet maintain the functions of a clinical bed. Typical home care beds are designed for nurses. The Transfer Master Original, and the the beds that followed, improved on this by meeting the needs of both the clinician and the rest of the family.
Our high quality mattresses offer superb comfort. Most of our beds can also be ordered with specialty pressure relief mattresses in almost any size.
Old-fashioned craftsmanship is evident in each adjustable height bed we build. Each part is overbuilt for a long and useful life. Parts are either bolted or welded together to ensure the product’s integrity.

Special Issues and Considerations
Can an adjustable Transfer Master bed assist me in getting out of bed?
Absolutely! By raising the head section of your bed all the way up and lowering the foot section flat, a Transfer Master bed allows you to effortlessly slide your legs to the floor while still enjoying the support of the bed.
Can I use insurance, like Medicare or Medicaid, to cover the bed?
Typically, insurance doesn't cover hi-low adjustable beds. However, if you believe you have valid insurance coverage, we recommend working with your local DME provider. Please note that Wheels & Chairs doesn't submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurances, and we don't collaborate with state Medicaid programs.
Do I need special sheets for my Transfer Master bed?
In most cases, our adjustable hospital beds have similar dimensions to standard bed sizes. Therefore, you usually don't need specialty size sheets for a Transfer Master bed. However, if you've purchased an 84" Long Bed, we can provide you with the contact details of a company that specializes in custom size bedding.
Should I rotate the mattress on my Transfer Master bed?
Absolutely! To prolong the lifespan of your mattress and ensure even wear, we recommend rotating the mattress on your Transfer Master bed four times a year (Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter). For better results, consider rotating it monthly.
Is there any maintenance required for my Transfer Master bed?
Yes, there is. When your Transfer Master adjustable hospital bed is not in use, lower the head, back, and leg sections to the down position. Additionally, we recommend applying Silicone Spray to the pivot points of your bed every 4-6 months.
Do your beds support voice control?
Certainly! Our Rehab line beds (standard and heavy duty) are compatible with voice-activated Environmental Control Units (ECUs), including Google Home and Amazon Echo. However, please note that our Supernal line does not currently support voice control.
Do the Transfer Master adjustable hi-low beds require special wiring in my home?
Nope! The Transfer Master electric adjustable beds use standard, grounded, household outlets and consume very little electricity. We strongly advise against plugging your electric bed into an extension cord, though.
Does Transfer Master ship its adjustable hi-low beds to Canada?
Absolutely! We can ship all Transfer Master products to Canada. So you can definitely get our fantastic beds north of the border.
