Below is our founder's story showcasing why we do what we do.
Our team's passion for elderly mobility devices comes from our founder, Josh. Josh and his grandmother Nancy lived together throughout all his high school years as she was having too many mobility problems living on her own. Given so much time spent with each other, they grew a bond that most grandparents and grandchildren don't have the luxury of developing. They watched movies together, cooked with each other (rather she cooked, Josh ate), and ultimately became best friends.
Then came the fall. Nancy lived for a few years after, but she never was the same. Talking with her before was as easy as seeing through a clear window, but after the fall, the window became foggy. She became harder to reach.
After she passed, Josh wondered what could've been done differently. Was there anything that could've helped manage the consequences or prevented the fall entirely? Maybe. Maybe not.
He'll never know, but what he did discover is that there are 1000s of devices and products out there that are built to prevent these tragic accidents from happening.
Josh decided then to make a business out of sharing these amazing products, hoping to help others buy more good years with the people they love and make the later years of life some of the better ones.
