Pride Go Chair Electric Wheelchair

Ladies and gentlemen, buckle up because we're about to take a ride on the wild side with the Pride Go Chair Power Wheelchair! When it comes to electric wheelchairs, we've changed up the game with this beauty!
First of all, we know that comfort is key, so we've included standard features such as swing-out storage compartments to keep all your essentials at arm's reach. And, for those of you who like to accessorize, we've added an accessory mount on the back, so you can easily add a cane holder or oxygen holder for your next adventure!

But wait, there's more! We've taken the exclusive feather-touch disassembly design, which is already popular in our mobility scooters, and applied it to this electric wheelchair to make it even more portable. In just a few simple steps, you can remove the compact foldable seat and separate the front and rear sections with just one release lever - it's that easy! And the best part? The heaviest component weighs just 16.5 kg - perfect for those who are always on the go.

So, whether you're hitting the pavement or exploring new terrain, the Pride Go Chair Power Wheelchair has got you covered! With its compact size, maneuverability, and easy disassembly, you'll be able to go wherever your heart desires! So, what are you waiting for? Hop on board and let's go on an adventure!

Ramp suggestions

Because I am permanently in a wheelchair we have "ramped" our house. For low thresholds of 2 inches or less we use Amazon's "EZ-Access Transitions Modular Aluminum Entry Ramp." That ramp has a slope of 1:4 (1 inch rise per 4 inch length). A longer ramp at that slope may cause the Go-Chair to stall and may also be unsafe for elderly walkers, so we have gentler 1:6 ramps built of wood and faced with gritty nonslip glue-on material.

Quality product that does everything it is designed to do.

Due to some corrective orthopedic surgery I am unable to walk for about 3 months. I knew that after the initial recovery from surgery, I would want and need to return to my work as a hospital administrator. In anticipation of this, we researched wheelchairs and scooters for both rent and purchase. I knew I would need something that could work at home and in my professional life, something that would give me freedom and flexibility with a reasonably professional appearance.

Great Small Power Chair

One shortcoming is the 20in wide seat. It is a bit thinly padded and to my taste too firm / hard. I hope it softens up but until then a seat cushion does the trick fine. My dimensions are 6'3 tall with 32in inseam, size 13 shoe, and 280lb body weight with an above knee amputation of the left leg. The chair suits my size fine and glides along without fuss. That said due to my amputation I don't need room below me for two legs, nor room on the foot plate for two size 13 feet. So if a full bodied person take that into consideration. Durability and maximum range is yet to be known but judging from my short and limited experience it's a top notch unit.

Is that it does what it says it does

I like the fact that it is heavy, but it has a low center of gravity, so it won't tip over, even with my big Mom on it. I like the fact that it easily disassembles into four manageable parts, all parts have a handle and can be put in the trunk of an economy car except for the seat. The seat is very comfortable and my Mom prefers it to her automatic recliner when watching Steve Harvey on the television.
